H2O9ers take the field!

---

We're the H2O9ers Team. Because we're the team going to Ghana, bringing clean and living water in 2009!

LOL, appropriate as well, due to all our checked luggage weighed 49 pounds each. Just under the 50 pound limit. I think most of them were actually 49.8 lbs. :o)

We're in the Charlotte airport and we're all online and talking on our cell phones bidding farewell to loved ones, checking emails, posting on Facebook, Twitter and this blog.

Technology sure has changed how we stay in touch. The post card sales must have dropped dramatically!

I'm thinking about the year gone by and all the names and faces who have helped us with their contributions of prayers, encouragement, belief in our "H2O for those who thirst" and "Sponsor a child" programs and financial sacrificial giving.

We are merely the hands and feet of this body of believers. It would be impossible for us to complete any mission without you!

We love you, we appreciate you and we give thanks to GOD for each of you. Including the two anonymous donors we got this year. Rich is your reward in heaven!

Tears begin to crowd my eyes as I think about how GOD has moved all of us to this one thing. Being in it all year, it was rough for me to step back and see it. I sweated every detail and must admit, I worried, I was anxious at times that we might not make it.

GOD exceeds our needs. In fact we have $1,000 more than we anticipated as need for this trip in reserve. Things may change once we're there. It is VERY comforting to have a reserve available in the event we do find it costs more than we anticipated to get the purification systems to the villages. One concern is transportation of the containers. I'm thinking we won't be able to use the van we ride in for this and will have to pay for a truck to deliver them.

Please add this to your prayer list, that we're able to accomplish this with little to no additional expense. The villages are a LONG way from the place we purchase the containers.

Well, I'm going to try and be short and sweet on these blogs, so...

Love & Prayers

David Lee Waters Sr., & the H2O9ers Team!
